Hurricane Frieda was both the costliest and deadliest hurricane on record in Barbados. Freida also caused major damage due to landslides in Honduras and Nicaragua. Freida was also the deadliest hurricane of the 2703 Atlantic hurricane season.
Retirement[]
The name Frieda was retired in the spring of 2704. The name Fern was selected to replace it.
