Hurricane Chris was a tropical cyclone that Struck Louisiana as a Category-1 Hurricane in Early August 2018. It was the Fourth tropical cyclone, third named storm and the Second Hurricane of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season.

  • A Waterspout, later EF2 Tornado, as it came ashore near Lake Charles, LA. - (August 11th)

  • Chris caused considerable Storm Surge in addition to Tornadoes
  • Some of Chris's Cells managed to Produce hail, up to 2 inches in Diameter
  • In Addition to Hail and Tornadoes, Hurricane Chris caused Widespread Flooding in some Areas
