Hurricane Amelia was the first named storm and first hurricane of the 2075 Atlantic hurricane season. It caused some minor damages in the Caribbean and made landfall at Jamaica as a tropical storm and striking Mexico in the Quintanna Roo as a weak Category 2 hurricane.
