Well, i never thought i'd see the day, but im afraid the time has come.
I Joined Wikia in June 2013, Five years ago, and created THIS wiki four years ago in september.. at that time, i went into this crazy wiki life thinking it was going one fun and awesome ride, and dont get me wrong it has been.. but as of today, we've reached a point i never expected to see..
I'm calling this my Retirement.. i dont know if it's a Semi-Retirement, but regardless..
In light of what's been happening over the last year, not just yesterday or the last month by themselves, my editing has really tanked.. im not sure of the exact cause but the cause or causes of which are probably variant..
I used to be so into Editing and just having fun on these Wikis, especially…Read more >

- banned users are allowed if they are unblocked

I was looking to see if anymore Tropical Cyclone Reports had come out, and i noticed Tropical Storm Beryl of 1982 had a slight change.
It was previously 70 mph/989 mbar, now it is 70 mph/988 mbar, so the pressure had come down 1 mbar.
This is obviously something new as it wasnt like this during April, as far as i remember.

We've done it guys!
Today: May 3rd, 2018, Hypothetical Events has hit it's 2000th Article.. a ton of work had gone into this wiki to get to this point and i cant quite believe we are here.
But honestly, after what will be 4 Years in September and 2000 articles, i also have you guys, especially my amazing Wiki Staff Members, to thank for helping us get so far.

Hello everyone, today it is officially May 1st and from where we are, that means the Atlantic hurricane season is only a month away.
I dont believe i've made an official prediction for the 2018 season yet.
But that's where i've come up with an idea.
Why dont i let you guys vote on the season's outcome?
I'll let you vote on the EXACT outcome of the season, from the amount of storms that form right down to the Category of each storm.
Whatever gets the most votes goes into the seasonal outcome.
Voting ends at 12:59 AM eastern time on May 2nd, and work would commence during the PM hours of the same day.
So, without further adieu.. the polls are open and you may commence voting.
As for the Duration/Days the storm is active, the month(s) they are acti…

First off for wednesday (and yes sorry it's a bit late in the day), my plan for today's work will be to add another article, and bring my current Hypothetical Image backlog down from 115 to 55.
Also, in a piece of big news, my very first song, Thunderstorm, just made it's debut on YouTube.

Today will be relatively easy, i will be posting new images.
I currently have 225 in my hypothetical image back log which i will be bringing down to 100.
So you guys will have more great images to work with.
You will definitely be able to look at the photo galleries during the next few hours an see what i had done.

Well, i've been Active for the last week, and right now i've decided to take Today (Saturday) and Sunday off.
During my active period this Week, i managed to Add upwards of 55 Articles and maybe 100+ Images.
So i've certainly done a lot of Catching up work.
i've decided to also post my Schedule for the rest of April so you'll get an idea of what the rest of my work days might be like for April.
Monday Wednesday Friday Saturday
And depending on what happens i'll typically be on as Early as 3:45 PM and might be on as late as 1:30 AM.. again, this is depending on the Conditions and i can easily change any of this is something happens online or off.

Yeah, something is telling me i should just forget about trying to commit to a schedule for my Projects, as im having trouble bringing myself to it.

Okay, since the last incident of one of my friends finding this wiki, I have decided to set some precautions.
First, I would like for bureaucrats and administrators to protect high-traffic pages, and your own userpages so other users cannot edit it, unless you are blocked.
Secondly, for any special wiki pages like leadership pages, if they are somehow unprotected, please protect them. This goes to any page that is controled by any bcrat or administrator.
I know stuff like this doesn't happen very often on here, but we should prepare just in case something like this happens again.

Hello, everyone. This is TornadoGenius, a bureaucrat of this wiki. I have proposed some recent changes, as concerning the activity of many of our staff members, most of which have not edited in more than a year. Some users have the qualities and the activity to become staff members, and one has already: SDT. I am looking forward to the new staff changes on this wiki, and I can see the bright future that could be ahead of the wiki with some of the changes. There are nobody that I would promote since everyone else of the staff members are very inactive. There are no non-staff members on this wiki besides users who have been blocked. So I'll start with some demotions that should probably take place.

Most of the storms this year have been very weak, boring, and repititive. The only cool storm we had this year was Typhoon Noru, which became the second-longest lasting typhoon on record in the WPac basin. Our retirement candidate this year occurred in the SCS, Hato, which became the worst typhoon on record in Macau. All other storms, however, have been tame and boring.
